A B O U T M E
H O W S I T , h o w s i t,
South African by birth, I now live with my beautiful wife and our two amazing daughters (little gremlins at times!) in Torquay, Devon - the wonderful English Riviera. I have a business in Cape Town, South Africa, and another in Redhill, London, between which I spend the majority of my 'work time'.
Along the journey from watching my father shoot all those rolls of film over the years, I grew to love photography, and find it a fitting escape from the realities of the daily grind - although they are consequently, intimately acquainted, both revolving around art, design, image, colour, capturing moments and reliving experiences.
I'm passionate about documenting specific, select adventures and experiences in life, for others; while most of the imagery you'll see here is completely of my own perspective, without the diminished freedoms and added expectations a deadline bring.
Feel free to browse, ask any questions you'd like on my contact page, and most of all, enjoy the visual stimulation for what it is - a glance into a frozen, fleeting moment.

The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows
Sonder.
n. the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own—populated with their own ambitions, friends, routines, worries and inherited craziness—an epic story that continues invisibly around you like an anthill sprawling deep underground, with elaborate passageways to thousands of other lives that you’ll never know existed, in which you might appear only once, as an extra sipping coffee in the background, as a blur of traffic passing on the highway, as a lighted window at dusk.
